Hi everyone and welcome to the 117th Cattlemen’s Days. This is an organization that means an incredible amount to me and I am very honored to represent this great tradition as the 2017 Cattlemen’s Days Queen.
My name is Madaline Redden and I am the daughter of Brett Redden and Karen Redden, whom along with my sister Lily, I owe incredible thanks for their support of me in this endeavor. I will be a freshman at Colorado School of Mines in the fall where I plan on majoring in Geology and Geological Engineering.
The Gunnison country has shaped who I am and I am part of the fifth generation of Reddens to live here. I love being surrounded by such a strong agricultural tradition here and am grateful for the opportunities extended to me because of that. I have been involved in 4H for 10 years and in FFA for 4 years. I have enjoyed showing horses and market swine at Cattlemen’s Days and I sincerely hope that you enjoy your time here.
Hello, my name is Taylor Watters. Welcome to the 117th Cattlemen’s Days!
I am the daughter of Jesse Watters and Brenda Wiseman and the younger sister of Mandy Watters, Michael Watters, and Cassidy Zerkle. I have been in 4-H for 9 years doing the cashmere goat project and the market goat project. I am involved in the Gunnison FFA Chapter. It is truly an honor to be the 2017 Cattlemen’s Days Princess. I would like to thank all of the wonderful sponsors of Cattlemen’s Days that help and allow this to be a huge success! I hope to see you during Colorado’s oldest professional rodeo!
Hi, my name is Aspen McNulty, I am the 2017 Gunnison Cattlemen Days Jr. Miss. I am 11 years old and have lived in Gunnison my whole life. I am the daughter and of Ivy and Seth McNulty, and sister to Timber McNulty.
I like spending time with my family. We have a Sunday Funday every weekend. We either ride my horse Red, go hiking, biking, skiing or just hang out with each other. Family time is very important to us.
I go to Gunnison Community School, I am currently getting ready to go to middle school. Which I am looking forward to, because I can finally participate in Gymnastics. This past year I was a member of the GEMS Cheerleading squad, a 5th grade class SLC officer and a member of the Country Clovers 4H club. I really enjoy doing 4H currently I am doing a 1st year Sewing Project and 3rd year Horse Project.
I enjoy representing the Gunnison community at rodeos and other events and look forward to seeing you at the 2017 Cattlemen’s Days rodeo.
