Cattlemen's Days Inc., the granddaddy of Colorado rodeos, has for the first time in 111 years been nominated as best "Medium Rodeo of the Year" in the country.  Rodeos are nominated by the cowboy/cowgirl contestants, PRCA personnel, other rodeos, contract personnel, etc.

This nomination came at the heels of setting a 2011 attendance record, with an annual projected economic impact to the city and county of  $6-7 1/2 million for the 10-day celebration. The winner will be announced the last three days of November.
